Pellets: “Apple Blend” pellets, Applewood, American Hickory, Red Oak
Ingredients: Santa Maria Tri Tip
- 1 4 ½ lb. tri tip, trimmed
Ingredients: Santa Maria Rub
- 2 Tablespoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne powder
- 1 Tablespoon cumin
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon of a pepper blend
Santa Maria Rub Directions:
Blend all the seasoning together in a bowl. We put it into a shaker and keep it on our counter top, but you don’t have to.
