This aluminum auger motor bracket is designed to help stabilize the auger motor onto the mounting plate to enhance the auger motor’s efficiency.
Not only does this increase the lifespan of the auger motor gearbox, it also allows the auger to feed pellets into the burnpot at a more even rate.
The bracket includes all of the hardware needed to mount to both the auger motor and the mounting plate.

-2.5mm Allen Wrench

I purchased the Heavy Duty Auger Motor and this Bracket kit to replace the existing stock motor on my Traeger BBQ075 “Texas Elite” smoker. The bracket installation was very straightforward. The kit comes with the bracket and mounting screws. The bracket is nice heavy-gauge aluminum and has been machined to fit nicely under the protruding auger tube. The new (heavy) motor is now held firmly in place! In the instruction video, they perform the installation on a shop bench with just the burner box assembly. I installed with the burner box assembly still mounted on the smoker. In the video, they caution you to take care not to strip the heads of the screws holding the gear box cover plate. During my installation, 3 of the 4 screws came out nicely, but the fourth head began to strip. I used a pair of needle nose Vice Grips to grab the side of the screw head and loosen it, before using a Phillips screwdriver to finish removing it.
