Ingredients:

  • Franks Original Red Hot Sauce
  • Butter
  • Hot Sauce (Tabasco, Cholula etc.)
  • Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low to medium heat. Make sure not to let it brown or burn.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Once the butter is melted, add the Frank’s hot sauce, Tabasco, and Worcestershire sauce to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Simmer: Allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. This will help meld the flavors together and ensure the sauce is well-combined.
  4. Season: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  5. Cool and Store: Once the sauce is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer it to a clean jar or airtight container for storage. Homemade buffalo sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

How to Customize the Buffalo Sauce:

HEAT LEVEL;

For Mild Buffalo Sauce use 8 ounces of Franks, 8 Tablespoons of Butter, a dash of Worcestershire Sauce, and a dash of hot sauce

For Medium Buffalo Sauce use 12 ounces of Franks, 6 Tablespoons of Butter, a dash of Worcestershire Sauce, and a dash of hot sauce

For Hot Buffalo Sauce use 14 ounces of Franks, 4 Tablespoons of Butter, a dash of Worcestershire Sauce, and a dash of hot sauce

Consistency:

If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can simmer the mixture for a bit longer to reduce it slightly. Alternatively, you can add a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce.

Flavor Variations:

Get creative with your buffalo sauce by adding additional seasonings such as smoked paprika, chili powder, or honey for a touch of sweetness.
