3 reviews for Pellet Grill Upgrade Bundle: 11ga Drip Pan, 10ga Diffuser, and 11-Hole Stainless Burnpot
John –
Heavy Duty Drip Pan and Heat Diffuser Will it work on my RecTec 700 thank you
Ed (verified owner) –
I have a Camp Chef Smoke Pro DLX 24. The heat diffuser and drip pan are much heavier duty than the OEM and fit well. However, the burnpot will not work with this pellet grill. The burnpot in the bundle has a solid bottom, whereas the Camp Chef grill uses a burnpot with an open bottom to allow dumping the ashes out the bottom of the grill. Recommend the listing be updated to reflect this.

This pellet grill upgrade bundle works great on my Traeger Ironwood 650. After a few years of use, the OEM internal parts were rusty, warped, and ready for the scrap heap. I wanted a replacement that would last the lifetime of my grill, and I’m confident these overbuilt pieces will go the distance.
It was easy to install, only required a Phillips head screwdriver. I bought the smaller size drip pan to fit my model. All pieces were heavy duty, emphasis on *heavy*. It feels like a real upgrade, not just a replacement. And every cook since then has gone great, no changes to my method or any other adjustments needed.
One note for fitment – I did have to remove the sheet metal housing that runs along the bottom of the grill and surrounds the burnpot (one screw each in the front and back) to get the upgraded heat diffuser to fit without the drip pan resting on top of it. The upgraded diffuser is considerably larger than the original on my model, so it sits up a bit higher. The removed piece did not seem integral to airflow or anything important, it just had two slots in the front and back to hold the original heat diffuser.
One other note – the Ash-Away will NOT work with this burnpot. It has the vortex-style holes that prevent the Ash-Away from fitting into the bottom of the pot.
I’ll be recommending Smoke Daddy products to all my grilling friends and neighbors. If you’re on the fence, pull the trigger.
