My... read more first smoke was jerky, which was the reason I purchased the smoker. The combination of the circulation fan, sportsman controller low temps and massive cook chamber size allowed me to make some of the best jerky I have made to date. I made about 18 lbs. of pork and turkey jerky. There was plenty of smoke and space! Temps were even side to side and top to bottom. This is a great smoker, and I can't wait to do the 90 lbs. of bacon that I smoke for Christmas gifts. Thanks Smoke Daddy for great products and excellent customer service!!!

Just wanted to let you know that Smoke Daddy Inc. stands by their product. I had an issue that was mostly my fault and basically by the time i got... read more off the phone with them the second time we had rebuilt the entire electronics of the smoker. I have their vertical pellet smoker with the Heavy D and fan accessories and i just love this smoker. The thought of potentially ruining my smoker was devistating to me but I got them on the phone and in short order they got me what i needed at no charge. It is good to know there are good people building great products right here in the USA. ps; If you haven't cleaned the colleted grease off the bottom for a while be careful when using the HIGH setting. This smoker is legit! I have never used a pellet smoker before but my brother in law has one. He was totally impressed with this setup! Can’t wait to smoke homemade deer summer sausage with the sportsman’s algorithm… the controller works amazing! Up to temp and holds the temp the whole time. Even with a 15 mph east wind, high was only in the lower 70’s. Thanks Smoke Daddy for producing such a good user friendly product! Also hoping to get the WI-FI connection setup soon!

Ordered through Amazon and the unit came with a piece missing. SmokeDaddy quickly replaced that with no question. Then afer using it I discovered I was sent the wrong... read more model - not the one I ordered for a Pit Boss Pellet Grill. Again SmokeDaddy quickly acknowledged the problem and told me how to fix it. I believe this unit along with some fire bricks has helped to even out the temperature of my grill.

Smoke Daddy’s attention to detail in the design is great! I’m very impressed by how well it holds temps steady. I’ve also attached the Smoke Daddy Big Kahuna cold smoke generator to it for cold smoking cheese and fish. Both products have worked well for me so far. After installation, I noticed that a part had been damaged most likely during shipping, but since I didn’t notice until later, I could know for sure. I sent an email and a replacement came quicker than I thought possible. I didn’t read any reviews until I went to post mine and I know how they have 5 stars. GREAT company to deal with.

I bought their “Heavy D” Stick Burning Heat... read more Diffuser, which replaced my *significantly* lighter heat deflector/diffuser that came with my pellet smoker. I LOVE being able to have wood stick smoke in the first 2 hours of crucial smoking time. It works so well. My last brisket had seriously excellent flavor.
