The... read more Pellet Pro Hopper is such a great product because of the flexibility you have to try different pellets, set the temperature, and go. It is worth upgrading the heating probe, so we would definitely recommend it. You will see in the photos that we also added the Big Kahuna Cold Smoke Generator for the flexibility of adding smoke for that amazing smoke ring, or to cold smoke some cheese, eggs, bacon, you name it! Ordered through Amazon and the unit came with a piece missing. SmokeDaddy quickly replaced that with no question. Then afer using it I discovered I was sent the wrong... read more model - not the one I ordered for a Pit Boss Pellet Grill. Again SmokeDaddy quickly acknowledged the problem and told me how to fix it. I believe this unit along with some fire bricks has helped to even out the temperature of my grill.

They were professional and courteous and knowledgeable and some of the very best help I have ever had. Call the support line, it'll ring Dennis' cell after hours and he will pick up. Starting off, customer service is outstanding!! Then getting my double door smoker was fast, easy and unit arrived in great condition. Assembly was easy as well. My... read more first smoke was jerky, which was the reason I purchased the smoker. The combination of the circulation fan, sportsman controller low temps and massive cook chamber size allowed me to make some of the best jerky I have made to date. I made about 18 lbs. of pork and turkey jerky. There was plenty of smoke and space! Temps were even side to side and top to bottom. I have their vertical pellet smoker with the Heavy D and fan accessories and i just love this smoker. The thought of potentially ruining my smoker was devistating to me but I got them on the phone and in short order they got me what i needed at no charge. It is good to know there are good people building great products right here in the USA. ps; If you haven't cleaned the colleted grease off the bottom for a while be careful when using the HIGH setting. Without hesitation, Smoke Daddy Inc. offered to send me a new one if they didn't receive it soon. Well, I just got my new control panel in the mail today.
