The combination of the circulation fan, sportsman controller low temps and massive cook chamber size allowed me to make some of the best jerky I have made to date. I made about 18 lbs. of pork and turkey jerky. There was plenty of smoke and space! Temps were even side to side and top to bottom. I've had my vertical for nearly 3 years (30-40+ hours a week is common). I've had to call them twice over that time and every time I screwed something up they where there at the other end of the phone walking me through it. Yes, even 3 years later when the unit is out of warranty and well worn. This commitment to excellence is hard to find but when you do you hold on to it.
