I have their vertical pellet smoker with the Heavy D and fan accessories and i just love this smoker. The thought of potentially ruining my smoker was devistating to me but I got them on the phone and in short order they got me what i needed at no charge. It is good to know there are good people building great products right here in the USA. ps; If you haven't cleaned the colleted grease off the bottom for a while be careful when using the HIGH setting. I LOVE being able to have wood stick smoke in the first 2 hours of crucial smoking time. It works so well. My last brisket had seriously excellent flavor. Smoke Daddy is a great small business creating innovative products. They sell creative solutions that you won't find elsewhere. Also, their customer service is top notch. I spoke to Dan with my issues, and he helped me think through the possible solutions. Give them a call! They are thoughtful, engaged, and give great advice.

The combination of the circulation fan, sportsman controller low temps and massive cook chamber size allowed me to make some of the best jerky I have made to date. I made about 18 lbs. of pork and turkey jerky. There was plenty of smoke and space! Temps were even side to side and top to bottom. Can’t wait to smoke homemade deer summer sausage with the sportsman’s algorithm… the controller works amazing! Up to temp and holds the temp the whole time. I recently inherited an old Traeger smoker from my father who recently passed. He absolutely loved that smoker and making wonderful food. After a few months I had an issue with the unit blowing fuses and reached out to customer support and emailed with Dan Seppala. Without hesitation he sent me out the replacement parts I needed to get this smoker back up and running. This kind of customer service and backing of their product goes a long way in my book and it had to find nowadays. I will recommend and use their products with high honors. Great customer service. New PID controller restored life to my Camp Chef STX and actually now it is better than it was when new.

Things break, things don't work out as planned in life but it's how we deal with these challenging times that defines our character. That might seem a bit over board... read more as we are just talking about a smoker but Dennis and the family/team there at Smoke Daddy always rise to the occasion. I've had my vertical for nearly 3 years (30-40+ hours a week is common). I've had to call them twice over that time and every time I screwed something up they where there at the other end of the phone walking me through it. Yes, even 3 years later when the unit is out of warranty and well worn. This commitment to excellence is hard to find but when you do you hold on to it. Buy with confidence and know that you have an ally when you do.

Ordered through Amazon and the unit came with a piece missing. SmokeDaddy quickly replaced that with no question. Then afer using it I discovered I was sent the wrong... read more model - not the one I ordered for a Pit Boss Pellet Grill. Again SmokeDaddy quickly acknowledged the problem and told me how to fix it. I believe this unit along with some fire bricks has helped to even out the temperature of my grill.
